Route Update May 23rd 2022
only 2700 Nautical Miles left to go
Well…. The last 2 months slowly cruising up thru the Bahamas with my crew Miss Daisy has been lovely but it is time to start making miles north. It is difficult to sail on the frozen great lakes so I am trying to get home to Lake Erie before winter.
If you can help with any of this please contact me.

Route update April 16th 2022
I have been so busy sailing with my new best friend ever that I have been remiss keeping the website updated. Please forgive me but being an ocean going sailing captain on a yacht constantly on the move requires a lot of my attention. I have been rather busy lately.
Here is the Map of what I have done since Miss Daisy’s arrival and what I plan to accomplish in the next 2 weeks or so.
________________________________________________________
okay…. Well… after a long 2 year wait for COVID stupidity trapped down here in the Caribbean… I will make my second attempt at getting home. Fingers crossed the world will stay sane and calm enough to allow me to try to get home this year. With a global economic collapse imminent, COVID fear mongering still very high, and the risk of a world war about to break out…. fingers crossed WildChild can find her way home despite the insanity of the larger world around her.
I will give the map of my intentions for each leg… and keep adding to it as each leg is about to be finished.
Remember intentions are not the same as plans or Schedules
4620 Nautical Miles to get Captain Lexi home before Canada freezes again. Honestly… the odds of probability of this ending well are not high. The odds of destruction, sinking, damage, shipwreck or arrest by the many stupid governments impeding my way home are, added together, much higher than the odds of this ending well for me.
BUT…. fuck it…
I am going home no matter what the world thinks
The first leg is now done, I am finished hoping up the Caribbean islands to Puerto Rico. Sail the entire Caribbean…. check.
Second leg will be north Coast of the DR and to the south end of the Bahamas over the next few weeks.
only 3800 Nautical miles left to go
